On the Song-Jin Relationship During the Earlier Days of Ningzong Regime

The essay mainly expounds,analyses and evaluates all the relations between the Song Dynasty and Jin Dynasty during the beginning period of Ningzong Sovereignty in the Southern Song Dynasty.By probing into many important events between the Song and Jin during the time from the Northern Expedition of Kaixi to the Jiading Peace Negotiation,the essay states that,because of all kinds of mistakes in the decision-making,Song and Jin had failed to catch the opportunities to unite each other and therefore could not afford another war against the other.As a result,both sides were locked in a stalemate in a declining state,and had to be waiting for the arrival of their deadlines.
