Abstract
Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of combinative detection of LDH and ADA on tuberculous pleural effusion.Methods:We enrolled 158 patients defined as tuberculous pleural effusion and 60 patients defined as non-tuberculous exudative pleural effusion and we evaluated both LDH and ADA levels in serum and hydrothorax.Results:LDH levels in serum and hydrothorax were no different between these two groups(P=0.144),while ADA positive rate in tuberculous group was significantly higher than non-tuberculous group(P0.05).Conclusion:Combinative detection of LDH and ADA is benefit to improve tuberculous pleural effusion diagnosis.
