Abstract
In order to understand the distribution characteristics and pollution of heavy metals in agricultural soil of eastern Guanzhong, the concentrations of Zn,Pb,Cr,Cu,and Mn in 25 topsoil samples collected from the agricultural soil in Fuping County were determined. The pollution situation was evaluated by the single-factor pollution index method and Nemerow comprehensive pollution index method, and the heavy metal pollution distribution map was drawn by Arcgis 9.3 software. The results showed that Cr and Cu pollution were both serious, all pollution was heavy pollution and moderate pollution,Cr and Cu heavy pollution samples was 76%,40% respectively in totel samples.Pb was light pollution,Zn and Mn pollution were both lighter. From the view of comprehensive pollution index, heavy metal pollution of agricultural soil was in moderate level in research area. Thus, appropriate measures should be adopted to strengthen the prevention and control of pollution in the region and avoid the harm to human health.
