Abstract
In order to study the soil distribution characteristics of heavy mental in Pucheng, surface farmland soils were collected to analyse the contents of Cu,Pb,Zr and Sr and to evaluate heavy metals pollution levels with the single factor pollution index and comprehensive pollution index. The results showed that Sr,Cu pollution was serious,Pb pollution was light,Zr was at lower level of contamination. From the view of comprehensive pollution index, agricultural soil heavy metal pollution was in moderate to serious level in the researched area. From the spatial distribution, the soil heavy metal pollution from north to south was reduced. Thus, appropriate measures should be taken to strengthen the prevention and control of pollution in the region to avoid the harm to human health.
