Abstract
In order to study the soil distribution characteristics of heavy mental in Dali, the pollution status of the 5 kinds of heavy mental in surface soil was sampled and analzed, and the single factor pollution index and comprehensive pollution index were used to evaluate it,ARCGIS9.3 was used to analyze the spatial distribution of heavy metal pollution. The results show Cr and Cu pollution are serious,Pb,Zn and Mn are at lower levels of contamination. From the view of comprehensive pollution index, agricultural soil heavy metal pollutions show moderate level in research area. Thus, appropriate measures should be adopted to strengthen the prevention and control of pollution in the region and avoid the harm to human health.
