Influence of early rehabilitation nursing on neurological function and quality of life of patients with post-stroke depression

Abstract
Objective To analyze the influence of early rehabilitation nursing on the neurological function and quality of life of patients with post-stroke depression(PSD).Methods A total of 118 patients with PSD were divided into two groups using the random number table,with 59 patients in each group.The conventional nursing group was given conventional medicine nursing and the rehabilitation nursing group was given conventional medicine nursing combined with early rehabilitation nursing.One treatment course lasted for one month and after three treatment courses,the neurological function,quality of life and improvement of depression were compared.Results The neurological function and the quality of life in both groups significantly improved at the end of three treatment courses,with significant differences between the two groups(P 0.01);The total effective rate of the rehabilitation nursing group was 96.61%,which was significantly higher than the 77.97% of the control group(P 0.05).Conclusion Early rehabilitation nursing can significantly improve the activities of daily living and the neurological function,improve the depression symptoms of stroke patients,enhance the rehabilitation confidence and improve the prognosis.
