Abstract

Objective To explore the value of combined detection of CYFRA21-1,CEA and NSE in diagnosis of lung cancer. Methods The serum levels of CYFRA21-1,CEA and NSE were determined by radioimmunoassay in 65 patients with lung cancer,50 patients with benign pulmonary disease and 38 normal controls. Results The levels of serum CYFRA21-1,CEA and NSE in lung cancer patients were significantly higher than that in patients with benign pulmonary disease and controls(P0.01).The CYFRA21-1,NSE had significant difference in different pathological types of lung cancer. The sensitivity of combined detection was significantly higher than that of single detection. Conclusion The results indicate that the combined detection of CYFRA21-1,CEA and NSE can increase the diagnostic sensitivity of lung cancer, and distinguish the different pathological types of lung cancer.
