On the Unity or Separation Between Virtue Ethics and ZhiPing(Political and Social) Ethics —— The New Perspective of Chinese Traditional Ethics

In the Chinese traditional moral thinking,the virtue ethics of self life is uniform with the political and social ethics.Although different thinkers have respective thought focus,as the whole of Chinese ethics,the cooperation between the two Ethics above is greater than the separation of them.In the Chinese traditional ethics,the virtue ethics of self-cultivation is a starting point and focus,however,the virtue ethics not only is inseparable with political ethics,but also is inextricably linked with the interpersonal norms and communication ethics.Therefore,an independent virtue ethics form never existed in traditional China.As living ethics and enlightenment(political and social) Ethics are interrelated with each other,they are also detached with each other in traditional China.This feature has its own community-based causes,its pros and cons and its modern reference.
