Confucian Ethics and Constructing Ethics of the Current Public Life

The ethics of Confucianism placed the same emphasis on both the ethics of private life and the ethics of public life.Unfortunately,because Confucius based all the ethic architecture on the kin relationship and gave only general interpretation on the ethics of private life and the ethics of public life.Nowadays,people have a tendency to regard the Confucianism more like ethics of private life than ethics of public life,this tendency exerted a profound negative influence on our own moral construction today.As a result,it is imperative for us to accentuate the high priority of ethics of public life and reinforce the declining ethics of public life.Finally,we can found the ethic architecture matched with the requirement of socialistic moral construction.
