Abstract
OBJECTIVE To approach the species and drug resistance in pathogens from infected urinary tract and offer the scientific evidence for clinical treatment of urinary tract infection.METHODS A total of 234 strains of pathogens from infected urinary track were identified by routine methods according to the National Clinical Laboratory Operation Rules.Drug susceptibility testing was performed by K-B methods recommended by CLSI.RESULTS Among 226 strains of pathogens from infected urinary track,Escherichia coli accounted for 25.6%,ranking the first.Enterococci ranked the second, accounting for 14.5%.All Gram-positive bacteria were sensitivity to vancomycin and teicoplanin and all and Gram-negative bacilli were sensitive to impenem.CONCLUSION The drug resistance in pathogens from infected urinary track is on the rise. The clinician should prescribe reasonably the antibiotics in accordance with the results of urine culture and drug susceptibility.
