Social Constructivism and Its Enlightenment for Innovation-Oriented Education

Abstract

21st Century requires a large number of foreign language talents. Such talents can only be cultivated in innovation-oriented education. Therefore it is of great significance to explore innovation-oriented education in foreign language teaching. Based on the main ideas of social constructivism, the author elaborates on the enlightenment of the theory to innovation-oriented education in the light of the constructivist views on learning, teaching, tasks and environment.
