Abstract

Objective To investigate the value of 3 tumor markers in serum for diagnosis in patients with lung cancer. Methods The level of TSGF, CYFRA21-1 and NSE in serum was measured in patients with lung cancer and benign lung disease by using Chromatometry of Biochemistry and Chemiluminoimmunoassay methods respectively. Results The level of all 3 tumor markers measured in serum was much higher in lung cancer group than that in benign lung disease group(P0.01 or P0.05). The sensibitity and specificity of TSGF were 84.8% and 86.1%.CYFRA21-1 and NSE increased in different degrees among the patients classified in accordence with various pathological categories. Conclusions The measurement of the tumor markers in serum contributes to the diagnosis, pathological classification evaluation of lung cancer. TSGF is a satisfactory screening marker of health examination.
