Abstract

A development method of GIS is introduced, which uses object-oriented technology with VC6.0 development tools of Microsoft. And the GIS can be runned under the windows of client/server pattern. The system is composed of three subsystems which are drawing system, databases management system and query and analysis system. The position of the drawing element and the relative data are queried each other by using the GIS. The system has implemented no seam bond of drawing system and MIS.
