Abstract
Objective:To understand further the CT signs of smsll peripheral lung cancer and to improve its diagnostic rate by CT.Methods:CT findings of 33 cases of small peripheral lung cancer confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed. Results:There were 19 cases of adenocarcinoma,10 cases of alveolar carcinoma,2 cases of squamous cell carcinoma,1 case of small cell lung cancer,1 case of alveolar carcinoma with adenocarcinoma in 33 cases of peripheral small lung cancer.Lesions on CT performance included edge leaf in 24 cases(72.7%),burr sign in 15 cases(45.5%),vacuole sign in 10 cases(30.3%),air bronchogram sign in 9 cases(27.3%),ground glass opacity in 9 cases(27.3%),pleural indentation sign in 8 cases(24.2%),vascular aggregation syndrome in 5 cases(15.2%),peritumoral emphysema in 5 cases(15.2%),within the lesion cavity in 5 cases(15.2%).Conclusion:Primary small peripheral lung cancer spiral CT features contribute to the qualitative diagnosis.
