Abstract
In order to improve the accuracy of inspection of pesticide residues in onions, a method based on gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) was developed for the determination of 29 pesticide residues in onion. The experimental results show that the method of GC-MS/MS can identify the 29 pesticide residues in onions. Within the mass concentration of 0.001~0.500 mg/L, the calibration curves showed a good linearity for all the congeners (0.987 0~0.998 7). The relative standard deviations were below 8.3% and the spiked recoveries were in the range of 79.6%~102.1%. Limits of detection ranged from 0.01 to 1.42 μg/kg.
