Abstract
Objective: To train a group of excellent volunteer blood donors who have organization and good medical knowledge about blood donor, obey disciplines and laws, be active in serving for blood donors. Methods: 158 volunteer blood donors were managed by different levels and trained gradually. Results: ①The satisfactory rate of blood donors to volunteers blood donors was increased from 47.0% to 95.5%, there was apparently difference in the satisfactory rate before and after being trained (χ2=110.14, P0.01). ②10 360 blood donors, including 9 614 people of the first blood donors, 578 people of platelets donors and 168 people of bone marrow donors, were successfully recruited per year by volunteer blood donors after being trained. Conclusion: The cause of volunteer blood donors can be well improved, the cooperation spirit can be enhanced and the potential abilities can be discovered by management and training.
