Effect observation of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of senile vaginitis

Objective To explore the clinical effect of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of senile vaginitis. Methods 180 patients with senile vaginitis were randomly divided into two groups,the treatment group in 90 cases,they were used the cooperation of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment,the control group in 90 cases,they were used the pure western medicine therapy.Two groups were reviewed after drug withdrawal 7 d.Two groups of persons cured were both reviewed after drug withdrawal 90 d,the recurrence rate were compared. Results The cure rate in treatment group was 87.8%,the recurrence rate was 6.3%,the cure rate in control group was 63.3%,the recurrence rate was 22.8%.The difference was statistically significant between the two groups(P 0.01). Conclusion The effect of combine traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of senile vaginitis is remarkable, and low recurring rate.
