An Explanation of Why Yang Shen Opposed the Song "History of Poetry":A breakthrough pragmatic expression in the Song poems by the Ming scholars

The saying that scholars in Song Dynasty established historical status of poems by Du Fu met its challenge in middle of Ming Dynasty,especially by famous scholar,Yang Shen,based on which controversy was touched off at that time.Although it was a bias for Yang to do so,it is meaningful to conduct an explanation for that.In fact,Yang did not criticize itself.What he really wanted to do was to breakthrough boundary that Song poems were subject to.Yang's action led to two breakthroughs in in Ming Dynasty.One is an overall explanation and understanding of the history of poetry;the other is that people never took poetry as highest evaluation for Du Fu's poems.In fact,it indirectly promoted independence of in Ming Dynasty,which showed itself in two aspects: negative evaluation of explanation of Du Fu's poems by scholars in Song Dynasty,and even negative evaluation of interpretation of whole poems in Song Dynasty.
