Abstract
Objective: To compare the clinical efficacy of ziprasidone and risperidone in the treatment of schizophrenia. Methods: 58 cases of schizophrenia were randomly divided into observation group and control group, in our hospital from Jan. 2009 to Feb. 2011. The observation group was given ziprasidone. The control group was given risperidone. According to the PANSS score, compared the positive and negative symptom score and total score, the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions in the two groups. Results: Two groups after treatment, compared the positive symptom score, negative symptom score and total score, the difference had no significant (P0.05); The cure rate (62.07%) and total effective (89.66%) in observation group were a little higher than the cure rate (55.17%) and total effective (86.21%) in control group. But compared the two groups in the cure rate and total effective, the difference had no significant(P0.05). The adverse reactions in the observation group were less than in the control group, the observation was better than the control group clearly, and the difference in the two groups had statistically significant (P0.05). Conclusion: Ziprasidone and risperidone in the treatment of schizophrenia clinical efficacy was similar, but the adverse reactions of ziprasidone is less than risperidone and have clinical significance.
