Abstract
On the basis of discussion of the concept of land use planning, this paper elaborates the characteristics, tasks, types and methods of land use planning By analyzing the current land use condition in China and the themes of sustainable development, the paper demonstrates the relationships between land use planning, urban planning and sustainable use of land
