Practice of hierarchical training for ICU nurses by various forms

Objective To explore the method and effect of hierarchical training for ICU nurses. Methods The ICU nurses were divided into novice nurses,qualified nurses,skilled nurses and professional nurses according to professional titles,educational backgrounds and work abilities,and they received hierarchical training according to different levels. We compared quarterly nursing assessment results,patients' satisfaction and doctors' satisfaction to the nurses before and after training. Results There were significant differences in quarterly nursing assessment results before and after hierarchical training (P0.01 or P0.05). The patients' satisfaction to the nurses increased from 81.7% to 95.9%,and doctors' satisfaction to the nurses increased from 74.5% to 91.7%. Conclusions Hierarchical training for ICU nurses by various forms can mobilize nurses' working positivity, cultivate nurses' potentiality,and improve nursing quality and professional level.
