Abstract
Based on comprehensive flotation tests with a copper ore from Yunnan, two different processing flowsheets,Cu-S bulk flotation-Cu/S separation and direct flotation without further separation, were compared with each other. The results showed that, with a direct flotation flowsheet containing a roughing, two stages of scavenging, and four stages of cleaning of regrinded rough concentrate,a copper concentrate with Cu grade and recovery as 21.00% and 87.73%,respectively,can be obtained.Furthermore,an iron concentrate with TFe grade and recovery of 55.89% and 21.59%,respectively,can be collected from the flotation tailings by magnetic separation.
