Influence of Danshao Decoction on Serum TNF in Patients with Liver-kidney Yin Deficiency and Dampness-heat Syndrome of Chromc Nephritis

Abstract

Using radioimmunoassay,we assayed the content of serum TNF in 30 cases of chronic nephritis with liver-kidney Yin deficiency and dampness-heat syndrome before and after treatment with Danshao Decoction.The study is to probe the serum TNF level and the influence of the Decoction on it.Results:The content of TNF in experimental group patient was significantly higher than that in normal controlled group(P0.001)?After treatment,the content of TNF got lower(P0.001);the number of deformed RBC in urine reduced(P0.05);the level of urinary protein decreased(P0.05).The result showed that TNF has an important significance in pathogenesis of chronic nephritis,and Danshao Decoction is an effective prescription for liver-kidney Yin deficiency and dampness-heat syndrome of chronic ne;hritis.
