Abstract

Objective To investigate the relationship between plasma levels of cardiac troponin I(CTnI),brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)and C-reactive protein(CRP)and the severity and prognosis of acute myocardial infarction(AMI).Method The plasma levels of cTnIc,BNP and CRP of 103 patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI)were detected within 12~18 h after chest pain, and compared with 93 healthy persons as contorl.Results(1)The differences in the plasma levels of cTnIc,BNP and CRP of patients between genders were not statistically significant;(2)The plasma levels of cTnI,BNP and CRP of patients in AMI group were all higher than those in control group;(3)The plasma levels of cTnI and BNP of patients with incidence of cardiac events were higher than cured patients. Conclusion cTnI,BNP and CRP have high sensitivity in AMI patients and their levels are closely related with cardiovascular disease, especially for acute myocardial infarction.
