On the Treatment of 62 Cases of Knee Osteoarthritis with Sodium Hyaluronate Injection Combined with Continuous Passive Motion

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate combined with continuous passive motion in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.Methods:105 cases of knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into a treatment group(62 cases) and a control group(43 cases).The control group were treated with intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate and the treatment group were required exercise with continuous passive motion based on the treatment of the treatment group.Both groups were treated for 5 weeks as a course.Both groups were compared before and after treatment on the aspects of the range of the knee joint comprehensive score,joint activity and the pain score.Results:After treatment,the knee comprehensive score, joint activityand pain score of the two groups were improved than those before treatment(P 0.05),better than the control group(P 0.05).Conclusion:Sodium hyaluronate injection combined with continuous passive motion could improve the therapeutic effect of knee osteoarthritis.
