Abstract
To evaluate the short-term efficacy and side effect of oxaliplatin combined with fluo-rouracil(5-Fu)and leucovorin(CF)in advanced gastric cancer.Forty cases with advanced gas-tric cancer were received oxaliplatin130mg/m 2 (2hours intravenous infusion in the first day)and CF200mg/m 2 followed by5-Fu500mg/m 2 (30minutes infusion)then5-Fu2.0g/m 2 (48hours continuous in-fusion)every three weeks. The efficacy were analyzed after two therapeutic cycles completed. The overall response rate was45.0%(CR,2cases;PR,16cases).Peripheral neuropathy was the main side effect(75%).[Conclusion]The oxaliplatin/5-Fu/CF regimen shows good efficacy with mild toxicity in treatment advanced gastric cancer.
