Abstract
Objective:To study the influence of domestic olanzapine on clinical efficacy and quality of life. Method:64 patients with schizophrenia were randomly divided into olanzapine group and clozapine group for 8 weeks. The efficacy and adverse effects were evaluated with positive and negative syndrome scale(PANSS)and treatment emergent symptoms scale(TESS).The quality of life of patients with schizophrenia was accessed by General Quality of Life Inventory(GQOLI-74). Results:There was no significant difference in clinical efficacy between the two groups.Patients in olanzapine group had more improvement in areas of life quality compared with patients in clozapine group. Conclusion: Domestic olanzapine have similar clinical efficacy as clozapine in the treatment of schizophrenia, with more improvement in quality of life compared to clozapine.
