Abstract

A preamplifier for the STM - 16 (2. 5 Gb/s) optical receiver in SDH system was realized by using 0. 35 μm CMOS technology. The supply voltage is 5 V, the 3 dB bandwidth is 2. 2 GHz,and the gain is 73 dBΩ. The core area is 0.15 mm×0. 20 mm.
