On Optimization Strategies of the Teacher Education Curriculum

The new curriculum reform has set new and higher requirements for the professional level of teachers.The teacher education programs serve as an important carrier to raise teachers' professional level,the extent of the optimization directly impacts on the quality and effectiveness of teacher education,and then determines the raising of the specialization level of the teachers and the depth of education reform.The ideas of the current teacher education curriculum are backward,the curriculum structure is imbalanced,course types are single,the contents of course are separate,and so on.We should adopt a positive strategy to optimize teacher education: updating the idea of the teacher education curriculum;undertaking the in-depth study and following the logic of teacher education courses;establishing value orientation of broad caliber,deep foundation,valuing the practice,promoting innovations and owning characteristics;building the teacher education courses system that will be in harmony with the new curriculum reform for basic education and in accordance with the professional development of teachers.
