Evaluation on innovation capability of the four cities in Huang-Huai Region in Henan Province based on principal component analysis

Through discussing the elements and the evaluation principles of regional innovation capability,the paper provides the index system of regional innovation capability,knowledge flowability,business technological innovation capability,innovation,environmente and economic performance of innovation.With principal component analysis,this paper analyzes the innovation capability of the four cities in Huang-Huai region in Henan Province,and finds the innovation capability of the four underdeveloped cities in Huang-Huai region is the lowest in Henan Province. The main reasons include the low capacity of the input and output,the bad innovation environment, and the insufficient innovation subject of manufacturing industry.At last,some corresponding countermeasures to enhance the capability have been put forward.
