Clinical Analysis of Shenshuaining Capsule in the Treatment of Patients with Chronic Renal Failure

Abstract

Objective: To observe clinical effect of Shenshuaining capsule in the treatment of chronic renal failure.Method: Sixty-eight patients with chronic renal failure who were in early and middle stages from Jun. 2011 to Jun. 2014 in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 34 cases in each group. Control group was given regular basis treatment of chronic renal failure,and the patients in treatment group were given Shenshuaining capsule based on the conventional treatment.Clinical symptoms of two groups were observed,serum creatinine( Scr) and blood urea nitrogen( BUN) were detected. Result: Serum creatinine( Scr),blood urea nitrogen( BUN) in all cases decreased after treatment( P0.01). The reduction of above indexes in treatment group were significantly obvious compared with that in control group( P 0. 01). Conclusion: Shenshuaining capsule can reduce patients serum creatinine and blood urea nitrogen and improve renal function with out adverse reaction.
