Abstract

Objective:To discuss the influence of blood donor's peripheral blood platelet volume parameters on the quality of plateletpheresis product, and discuss an appropriate standard for selecting plateletpheresis donors.Method:The peripheral blood platelet volume parameters of 194 blood donors were collected before donation, including mean platelet volume(MPV),platelet distribution width(PDW)and platelet large cell ratio(P-LCR),and analyzed with the quantity of plateletpheresis product using single factor analysis and the data of before and after donation were analyzed using paired comparison.Result:The pre-donation peripheral MPV,PDW and P-LCR were negatively correlated with platelet quantity(P0.01),which were the most important indexes of plateletpheresis donors.
