Abstract
For studying spray-quenching process of large-scale forgings,spray-quenching equipment was developed, and experiments of spray quenching on shaft type parts were carried out.According to the actual conditions,a nonlinear FEM model comprising variable physical property parameters and phase transformation was established. The spray quenching process was simulated, and the accuracy of simulation results matches the test results.Effects of size of the parts on stress in quench process were analyzed.
