Abstract

Objective: To compare the efficacies of Tropisetron and Granisetron in preventing postoperative nausea and vomiting of laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery. Methods: 120 patients,ASA classⅠ~Ⅱ,undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery, were randomly divided into 3 groups, receiving an intravenous bolus of Tropisetron 5 mg(group A,n=40),Granisetron 3 mg(group B,n=40),and 0.9% NS 10 ml(group placebo, group C,n=40) respectively 10min before anesthesia. Results: The incidences of postoperative nausea and vomiting in group A(22.5%) and group B(25.0%) were significantly lower than that in group NS(52.5%)(P0.05) in postoperative 0~24 hours. Conclusion: Tropisetron and Granisetron can prevent postoperative nausea and vomiting of laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery effectively. The two drugs have the same therapeutic effect in preventing postoperative nausea and vomiting, but Tropisetron is more effective.
