Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of angiorensin Ⅱ receptor antagonist on serum uric acid among the hypertensive patients. Methods 60 hypertensive patients were randomly divided into two groups.Losartan group(30 cases),Losartan 50mg qd;Cilazapril group(30 cases),Cliazapril 2.5mg qd.The course of treatment was four weeks.Serum uric acid was measured before and after treatment. Results Compareal with the besical value, serum uric acid decreased significantly(P0.01) in Losartan group, but not in Cilazapril group(P0.05).Conclusion Losartan can not only decrease the blood pressure but also subdue serum uric acid in hypertensive patients.
