Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of Juanzhuo decoction on vertebral-basilar artery insufficiency vertigo. Methods 210 cases of vertebral-basilar artery insufficiency vertigo were randomly divided into two groups.106 patients in treatment group were treated by Juanzhuo decoction.104 cases in control group were treated by Difenidol tablet. The effect and changes of hemarheology indexes were observed 15 days after treatment. Results The total effective rate in treatment group(92.5%) was higher than that in control group(75.0%,P0.05).VS of LVA,RVA and BA in systole after treatment were increased in comparison with those before treatment in two groups(P0.01,P0.05).VS of LVA,RVA and BA in systole in treatment group were higher than those in control group after treatment(P0.01,P0.05).The whole blood viscosity, hematocrit value and Fibrinogen in treatment group were lower than those in control group after treatment(P0.01).Conclusion Juanzhuo decoction has a good effect on vertigo basilar artery insufficiency.
