Abstract
In order to investigate the numerical and spatial changes of cultivated lands and their driving forces, this study applies correlation analysis, principal component analysis and stepwise regression to analyze the data, and formulates a multivariate linear regression equation between cultivated land changes and major driving factors using stepwise regression method. The study results show that the total area of the cultivated land and the cultivated land area per captia decreased year by year from 1992-2007.Also,the results show that the economic development, the population growth and the development of agricultural science and technology are the three drivers on cultivated land changes.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
