Abstract
Objective:To investigate the expression of C-erbB-2 protein in breast infiltrating ductal carcinoma and its role in lymph node metastasis. Methods:Use immunohistochemical method(SP method)to detect the expression of C-erbB-2 protein,Estrogen Recepto and Progesterone Receptor in breast cancer. Results:Twenty ceven cases among 60 cases of breast cancer showed positive expression rate was 45.00%.Positive overexpression of C-erbB-2 was significantly different from tumor size, lymph node metastasis and histological grade of breast cancer and it was in negative correlation with ER and PR.Conclusion:The positive expression of C-erbB-2 plays an important role in human breast infiltrating ductal carcinoma and lylmph node metastasis and can become an important index in judging the prognosis of breast cancer.
