Abstract
Wool dyeing was carried out with reactive dyes under conventional and ultrasonic wave conditions respectively.Factors exerting influence on K/S value and color fastness were discussed, such as dyeing temperature and time, the optimum conditions were defined:dyeing at 60~70℃ for 40~80 minutes assisted with ultrasonic wave of frequency ranging from 35 to 45 kHz.Results proved that ultrasonic wave was benefit for fiber swelling, scale opening and dyestuff dissolving, therefore, color fastness to rubbing and soaping of the wool dyeings was improved.
