Abstract

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of antiviral therapy in patients with liver cirrhosis after hepatitis B complicated by hepatic diabetes. Methods: 82 patients with liver cirrhosis after hepatitis B complicated by hepatic diabetes were randomly divided into the observation group and control group, each group was 41 cases respectively. The observation group were given the antiviral therapy of Adefovir Dipivoxil, while the control group were given the conventional medical therapy, then the liver function tests and blood glucose level were compared before and after the treatment between two groups. Results: The response rate of the observation group was 78.05%,while there was only 35.71% in the control group, with the significant difference(P0.01).Conclusion: The antiviral therapy in patients with liver cirrhosis after hepatitis B complicated by hepatic diabetes leads to the good recovery of liver function, ideal control of blood glucose, safe administration and little adverse reactions, and is worthy to be generalized clinically.
