On the Problems in Government Performance Evaluation and Some Countermeasures

As an effective tool of government administration,the government performance evaluation is widely accepted in modern public administration.On the basis of studying and use for reference of western countries especially the U.S.as well as the Britain's achievement on the government performance evaluation work,and analysis of the functions,meaningfulness and the existing problems in China,this paper tries to search for the strategies of improving our government performance evaluation work in the situation available.
