Loop electrosurgical excision procedure in treatment of the severe cervical erosion

Objective To explore the clinical value of loop electrosurgical excision procedure(LEEP) in treatment of the severe cervical erosion.Methods 350 cases of severe cervical erosion cervical erosion were included in the study.According to the order of admission,they were randomly divided into observation group and control group(n=175).The observation group were given leep treatment and control group was given microwave treatment.All clinical parameters were recorded and compared between the two groups including blood loss,operative time,postoperative vaginal discharge,bleeding after surgery and treatment rates,etc.Results The blood loss,postoperative bleeding and vaginal discharge time in observation group are less than in the control group,while the cure rate was significantly higher,the difference between groups was significant(P0.05).Conclusions the LEEP treatment of severe cervical erosion is better than the microwave treatment,and less vaginal bleeding and discharge,bleeding and discharge time is short,quick recovery,low recurrence rate.It is an ideal treatment of cervical erosion method,and is worthy of promotion.
