Abstract
To explore the effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in treatment of hypertension complicated with cerebral infarction, the nerve function and daily life of 70 patients averagely divided into control and treatment group were studied.Patients in the control group were treated with only western medicine while the patients in the treatment group were treated additionally with traditional Chinese medicine. The 30-day clinical effective rate of the treatment group was 94.3% and that of the control group was 74.3%,with significant difference(P0.05).The neurological deficit score of the patients in the treatment was remarkably lower(P0.05) and the Barthel index score was significantly higher(P0.05).All these show that treating hypertension complicated with cerebral infarction can obtain good results.
