Abstract
Conditions for head-space extraction were given, and the volatile oil in the sample was introduced into the hyphenated GC/MS instrument for separation and identification of its chemical components. The relative contents(in %) of the components were determined using the method of normalization.Seventy four components were found in the separation, among which 64 components were identified. The sum of peak areas of the identified components was found to account for 97.76% of the total peak areas of components in volatile oil.The main compounds among the 64 components are the following: acetic acid(3.55%),linalool(4.41%),α-humulene(5.61%),trans-caryophyllen(9.30%),trans-β-farnesene(3.99%),α-curcumene(8.50%),pentadecane(8.48%),γ-selinene(3.75%),β-bisabolene(5.66%) and β-cadinene(3.57%).
