Abstract
AIM To develop a HPLC method for determination of quercetinum and study the difference of Houttuynia cordata Thunb from different districts.METHODS Quercetinum was determined by HPLC on Alltima C 18 column 250mm(4.6mm,5μm) at 30℃ with acetonitrile-0.4% phosphoric acid ( 45∶55) as the mobile phase.Detection wavelength was 370nm. The flow rate was 1.0ml/min.RESULTS The calibration curve of quercetinum was 0.24~1.20μg(r=0.999 6).The average recovery of quercetinum were 96.30%(RSD=1.19%).CONCLUSION The method was simple and accurate and apt to control the quality of Houttuynia cordata Thunb.
