Abstract
A new HPLC method for the determination of quercetin in Houttuynia cordatas thunb was established.90% EtOH was used as solvent and soxtherm distill machine was used to distill the quercetin.Diamonsil~ TMC_ 18(4.6mm×150mm.5μm) and MeOH-H_2O-HAc(48∶49∶3) was made use of chromatogram colum,mobile phase,respectively.The detection wavelength of quercetin is 254nm.The lineal range of quercetin is 0.00704—0.06336μg and the average recovery rate is 98.3% and RSD is 3.2%.The method is simple,sensitive and reproducible,which can be used for the qulity control of Houttuynia thunb cordata material and preparation.
