Abstract

The academic circle often discusses the influence of foreign poetry on modern Chinese poetry;however,the intermediary function of translated poetry is neglected more than once.This paper expounds the intermediary function of translated poetry to modern Chinese poetry from two aspects: literary styles and creation.On the other hand,modern Chinese poems have some effects on translated poetry,which proves the interactive relationship between poetry translation and poetry creation.
