The Influence of Individual Rehabilitation Nursing Instruction on the Quality of Life of Patients with Gastric Cancer

Abstract
Objective To explore the influence of individual rehabilitation nursing instruction on the quality of life of patients with gastric cancer. Methods 60 patients with gastric cancer admitted in our hospital from February 2010 to April 2012 were divided into the control group(Ordinary care group) and the observation group(individual rehabilitation nursing instruction group),30 cases in each group. The control group received the routine care,while the observation group was implemented guidance of rehabilitation nursing for individual. Observe and compare the life quality and nursing effects of the two groups. Results Before nursing,no significant difference of the scores of quality of life was observed between two groups(P0.05). After nursing,the scores of quality of life of both groups were significantly lower than those before nursing,and they were significantly lower in the observation group than those of the control group(P0.05). The rate of nursing error and complaint rate of nurse-patient disputes of observation group were both significantly lower than those of the control group,while the overall satisfaction rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P0.05). Conclusion Individual rehabilitation nursing instruction could significantly enhance the quality of life and nursing effect of patients with gastric cancer,and deserve clinical application.
