Abstract

Objective: To explore the clinical significance of the changes of serum IL-2,IL-4,IL-13,IgE levels in patients with bronchial asthma. Methods: Fasting serum IL-2,IL-4,IL-13,IgE levels were measured with ELISA in patients with bronchial asthma as well as normal controls. Results: Serum IL-4,IL-13,IgE levels were significant higher in both acute attack group and remission stage group than normal controls (P0.001).But the serum IL-2 level in acute attack group and remission stage group was vobiously lower than normal controls (P0.01).Serum IL-4,IL-13,IgE levels in acute attack group were significant higher than remission stage group (P0.001),but serum IL-2 was still lower than remission stage group (P0.001).Conclusion: The changes of serum IL-2,IL-4,IL-13,IgE levels in patients with bronchial asthma have closely relationship with clinical diagnose and therapy,it is necessary to detect them in the different stages.
