Abstract

Objective To evaluate the alteration and significance of serum IL-4,IL-18 and IgE in bronchial asthma. Methods Blood samples of 30 bronchial asthma and 20 healthy individuals as control group were collected.Samples of serum IL-4,IL-18 and IgE concentration were analyzed by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),followed by comparisons of IL-4,IL-18 and IgE levels among all groups.Result The levels of IL-4,IL-18 and IgE in bronchial asthma patients were significantly higher than that of normal control group(P0.05).And the level of acute episode group was higher than that of paracmasia group in bronchial asthma patients(P0.05).Conclusion Augmentation of serum IL-4,IL-18 and IgE had close correlation with bronchial asthma.
